Serving the New Orleans, Louisiana area
Ted Nusenow is a valued personnel asset as a Mortgage Advisor in the New Orleans Branch of Flagstar Bank. When Ted moved from Southern California to New Orleans nearly twenty years ago, he arrived with 15 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing business. In that industry, he structured financing of equipment, factories, and inventory in factories throughout Asia.
The complexity of those financial transactions made Ted a great fit for the mortgage business handling financing for high net worth borrowers with complex income structures. Working with publicly traded banks for nearly twenty years, Ted Nusenow has originated over $500 million in first mortgages. Ted has leveraged his wealth of experience in large and complex mortgages to serve his jumbo loan clients. In the jumbo loan niche, Ted’s knowledge and service excellence are highly praised by clients.
Ted is well versed in Conventional guidelines (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac), and is considered very knowledgeable on warrantable (and non-warrantable) condo guidelines, and FHA and VA government loans. He provides renovation and new construction loans, including second mortgages and bridge loans.
When Ted and his wife Martay came to New Orleans nearly twenty years ago, they immediately fell in love with the city. They love their lower Garden District neighborhood, live music, reading and hanging out at the beach with their two dogs, Pip and Fitz. Tennis is the family sport. Having played since he was seven years old, Ted played collegiate tennis at U C San Diego and is currently a nationally ranked senior in his age division.
Their greatest joy is watching their son thrive in life and excel in his college studies in Washington D.C.
